Located in North Potomac, it's close to neighboring Darnestown, Germantown, Gaithersburg, Potomac, and Rockville, and also not far from Frederick County and Bethesda/Washington, D.C.

As a therapist, I have gained crucial experience in community mental health, in the second busiest emergency room in Maryland, and in independent practice prior to establishing my own.

I came to this field with life experience from work, motherhood, and publishing. In my first career, I wrote extensively about parenting and relationship topics, and I am the author of these books, among many others:
