Loriann Hoff Oberlin, MS, LCPC practices in Montgomery County, Maryland in the Kentlands - a community convenient to shopping, restaurants, living and working. Located in Gaithersburg, it's close to neighboring communities of Darnestown, Germantown, North Potomac, Potomac, and Rockville, and also not far from Frederick County and Bethesda/Washington, D.C.

My background equips me to tailor therapeutic interventions that work for you or your child given your interests, comfort level and learning style. As a therapist, I have gained crucial experience in community mental health, in the second busiest emergency room in Maryland, and in independent practice prior to establishing my own.

I came to this field with life experience from work, motherhood, and publishing. In my first career, I wrote extensively about parenting and relationship topics, and I am the author of these books, among many others:
